What the RS9 APK installer shows, and which permissions to refuse

The Android package is whatever www-game.com/api/download-url?from=rs9.world returns at the moment Chrome asks. This page does not pin a version string or a byte size to that URL. Both appear on the package installer for the copy you downloaded. Copy them into a note if you need them later. Do not copy them from an old blog.

A guide that prints "18.72 MB" or "v1.4.6" is describing a file it did not just download. Those two strings were on the previous copy of this page. They are withdrawn. The file you have is the one on your notification shade.
Android 8's switch is per browser
Android 8 and later will not open the package until the browser is allowed to request installs. The path is Settings, Apps, Special app access, Install unknown apps, then the browser you used, then Allow. Chrome and Firefox are separate rows. Android 7 and earlier has one phone-wide switch under Settings, Security, Unknown sources. Turn that older switch off again after this install. Refuse SMS, contacts, and accessibility
Cancel the install if the list includes any of these three:
- SMS, read or receive. A contest that shows the code on its own screen does not need to read the inbox. An app that can read SMS can read the code and any bank SMS in the same inbox.
- Contacts. A fantasy entry does not need the address book. The referral link, if you use one, is a URL you send yourself.
- Accessibility. That permission can read other apps' screens and tap for you. A scoreboard does not need it.
Also cancel if the list includes a request to install other packages. The browser needed that right in order to start this install. The cricket app does not need to start a second install.
How to match a screen word to a permission
The installer usually prints a short label, not the Java constant. Use this pairing when you decide:
- SMS, or "read your messages": READ_SMS and RECEIVE_SMS. Either one can see the one-time code and a bank SMS in the same inbox. Cancel.
- Contacts, or "read your contacts": READ_CONTACTS. A fantasy entry does not need the address book. Cancel.
- Accessibility, or "observe your actions" and "retrieve window content": an accessibility service. It can read other apps and tap for you. Cancel.
- Display over other apps: SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW. A scoreboard does not need to draw on top of your banking app. Cancel.
- Install unknown apps, on the cricket app rather than on Chrome: REQUEST_INSTALL_PACKAGES. The browser needed that right. The cricket app does not. Cancel.
- Full network access, or Internet: INTERNET. The contest is on a server. Do not cancel for this line alone.
- Notifications: a lock alert. Do not cancel for this line alone.
If the list uses only the constants, the decision is the same. One refused permission is enough. You do not need all three of SMS, contacts, and accessibility to be present. After you cancel, delete the APK from the download notification so a later tap does not install it. The version and size you write to rs9support@email.com are the ones on the screen you just closed, sent with the path /hero11-game-apk/.
Permissions a contest can justify
Internet access is required, because the contest is on a server. A notification permission is ordinary if the app alerts you that the contest has locked. Storage, on older Android, is how the browser saved the file you already opened. None of those three is a reason to cancel. The three in the previous section are.
The install order
- Download from the button, which hits https://www-game.com/api/download-url?from=rs9.world.
- Allow the browser under Install unknown apps if Android 8 or later blocks you.
- Open the notification. Read name, version, size, and the permission list.
- Cancel on SMS, contacts, or accessibility. Install only if those three are absent.
- Open the launcher icon and check the host before you type a code. The host rule is on the login page.
iPhone does not reach this installer
iPhone and iPad do not show this installer for the Download APK button. The tap is routed to the contest in the browser. There is no package name to inspect and no permission list. Treat a file that a chat then sends you, with an invitation to trust a profile, as unrelated to this button. This site does not publish an iOS configuration profile.
If you install, write the version and the size from the installer into the note, next to the date. That pair identifies the copy you have. It is the pair to quote to rs9support@email.com if the app later asks for SMS. Do not quote a version from a different page.
Version you write down
The ₹30 and ₹80 lines are not repeated here. They sum to ₹110 on the home page, and the contest screen can show a different pair. Come back to this page only for the installer fields.
This guide does not publish a SHA-256 checksum for the file. A checksum we invented would be worse than silence, because it would bless the wrong bytes. The practical checks are the URL, which should be https://www-game.com/api/download-url?from=rs9.world, and the permission list above. If you have a checksum from the contest itself, compare it to the file Chrome saved. A checksum from any other site is not a check of this URL.
After install, one host check

Which match length this card is for
The points page is a T20 card. A T20 innings is at most 20 overs, 6 legal balls an over, 120 legal balls if the innings is completed. An ODI innings is 50 overs, 300 legal balls. A men's Test is scheduled for up to 5 days. Those three are different matches. An RS9 contest that lists an ODI or a Test uses the card inside that contest. Do not copy the T20 wicket value of 30 onto a Test entry.
Fielding restrictions differ with the length. In a T20 the first 6 overs allow at most 2 fielders outside the 30-yard circle, then at most 5. In a 50-over game the usual split is 2 outside for overs 1 to 10, 4 outside for overs 11 to 40, and 5 outside for overs 41 to 50. A Test has no powerplay circle. The IPL page is only the 20-over case, because an IPL match is a T20. A fielding-restriction breach is a no-ball on the field. It is not a separate line on the T20 fantasy card.
IPL playing conditions used in 2026 still include the Impact Player. The fantasy consequence on the 25 October 2026 card is narrow: a playing Impact, concussion, or X-Factor scores 4 plus events, and a nominated substitute who does not play scores 0. The over in which the IPL allows the substitution is the season's playing conditions. This installer page does not restate that over.
Checksum
If you cancelled, the useful email to rs9support@email.com contains the version and size the installer showed, the permission you refused, and the path /hero11-game-apk/. It does not contain an SMS code. If you already installed and then saw an SMS permission prompt inside the app, uninstall from Settings, Apps, then send the same three fields.
What to mail if you cancelled
What you can read without opening the app
Before Install, the package installer shows four things this site refuses to freeze in a sentence: the app name, the version, the size, and the permission list. Copy the version and the size into a note. Compare the list with three refuse lines. The screen words are SMS, Contacts, and Accessibility. The Android names behind those words are READ_SMS, RECEIVE_SMS, READ_CONTACTS, and an accessibility service. SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW, the "display over other apps" grant, is a fourth reason to cancel. INTERNET is not. REQUEST_INSTALL_PACKAGES belongs to the browser that started this install, not to the cricket app.
The URL that should be in the browser's download entry is https://www-game.com/api/download-url?from=rs9.world. A checksum is not printed here, because a checksum we invented would bless the wrong file. After a clean install, the host check on the login page is the next step, and it is a different question from the permission list.
Two installer questions
Why is there no size on this page?
Because the URL can return a new build. The size of the build you received is on the installer and in the download notification.
Is Internet access a reason to cancel?
No. SMS, contacts, and accessibility are the cancel lines. Internet is required for the contest.
This file is not the contest
Installing the package does not open a wallet on rs9.world. A deposit, if you make one, is a payment on https://rs9-in.rs9uniors.com/en/fantasy?seo_channel=seo-T9-KLK2 or inside the app after you have passed the host check. This domain never sees the UPI PIN.
Cancel is final for that file
A cancelled install leaves the APK in Chrome's download list. Delete that file if you are not going to install it. A later tap on the old notification installs the copy you already decided against, even if the URL has since changed.
The four withdrawn strings, if you still see them in a copy of this guide, are 18.72 MB, v1.4.6, v1.0.0, and 25 MB. None of them is the file in your notification.
